Nissan’s ZEOD RC Electric Racecar
Nissan is still hard at work putting the final components together on its ZEOD RC racecar. ZEOD RC stands for Zero Emission on Demand Racing Car and is a product of Nissan’s innovations in electrically powered vehicles. This exciting machine is on schedule to be ready for testing in the United Kingdom later this year. The testing will help its builders make any necessary changes before it makes its race debut at the 24 Hours of LeMans in France in 2014. As of now, the DeltaWing-shaped car’s carbon-fiber body and chassis have been 
completed. The next steps include installing the twin electric motors and fitting the driver’s seat. If the current schedule sits, by months end, the racecar should be out for a test drive. The racecar will run in pure electric mode with zero emissions and will be the first of its kind. As if an all-electric vehicle like the LEAF was not impressive enough, this brings Nissan’s electric motor innovations to new heights and speeds, literally.
